Question:
I used to have an ideal life with regard to money, relationship, health, etc. Life threw me a curve ball and all of those things are gone. Where do I go from here?
Answer:
Everything in life is structured for your evolution. The laws of nature that govern every aspect of existence, including our daily lives, are designed to support you in experiencing deeper aspects of your own nature. When life throws you a curve ball that is a sign to go more deeply within. Contraction is always a signal to gain more clarity; it is a time to take it easy, nurture yourself, take care of yourself and allow the clarity to come to you.
Sometimes it is hard to see that every moment is a gift, especially when it requires us to change our plans or our views of how things should be. When Janet was planning her first trip to India to spend time with the enlightened she got word that her step mother was dying and it completely upset all her well-laid plans. But Janet stayed open to what was occurring in that moment and realized that this news created a new, top passion for her—to spend the last days of her stepmother’s life with her. The result was miracles she couldn’t have ever predicted, as she describes throughout The Passion Test book.
In order for Janet to stay open, it required that she undo any beliefs and concepts she held about any aspect of her life, including what would bring her happiness and what would be important in her life. Like Janet, if you stay open to how life is appearing now, free from your concepts of how it “should” be, you create the opportunity for miracles to occur.
I would encourage you to ask yourself this, “What is it that can bring me happiness even in the midst of what I am experiencing now?” You can never know what will show up in your life, you can only stay open to what is required of you now.
When you fight reality, you will always lose. When you realize that every part of your life is working to bring you closer to knowing your true nature more completely, life can only get better. Set your intentions on the growth and miracles that are possible and small signs will start appearing to let you know how powerful your intentions and attention can be.
