The Passion Test is all about becoming a "conscious" creator of your life.
We all create the life we live. It's just that most people do it unconsciously. Now is the time to start consciously creating your life. It's not that hard. It begins by noticing.
Noticing means: What are you feeling right now? What are you experiencing right now?
Do you feel expanded (happy, open, excited, loving, generous, kind—all those "good" sorts of feelings)? Then it's time to take action, move forward.
Do you feel contracted (shut down, unhappy, depressed, worried, anxious, angry, frustrated—all those "yucky" sorts of feelings)? That's a sign it's time to stop pursuing the direction you have been going. Take it easy. Be gentle with yourself. Be kind to yourself. And reflect. Contraction is a time to gain more clarity.
When clarity happens, expansion will be the result. What is expansion? The signal to move forward, take action.
It's not very complicated, actually. It's just a matter of noticing. And then being easy with yourself and with others when you feel contracted.
Today's Tip for Following Your Passions: You guessed it. Notice. Today pay attention to what you're feeling. Then practice moving forward when you feel expanded, and take it easy, be gentle with yourself and others when you feel contracted. Contraction doesn't mean stopping everything you're doing. It does mean to let go of your expectations about anything while you're contracted. Remember, contraction is the chance to gain more clarity.
