Hit by Lightning

It's as if some people are hit by lightning and all of a sudden they KNOW what they are here to do. But what if that doesn't happen to you?

Unfortunately, most of us don't get such a sudden awakening. So what do you do if you don't get hit by lightning?

Take The Passion Test. Then consistently follow the guidance of the secret that guarantees a passionate life:  "Whenever you're faced with a choice, a decision, or an opportunity, choose in favor of your passions."

As you make choices based on what you care most about, you will find your life begins to feel more and more purposeful. One day you'll be saying to yourself, "THIS is why I'm here." Purpose naturally arises as you follow your passions.

Life is like a huge tapestry. Our individual lives are like threads that comprise that tapestry. Each thread is a critical piece of making this tapestry of life a work of art. As long as so many people are denying their own gifts and doing things which make them miserable, this life tapestry is a big hodge podge.

But as more and more people get clear about what it is that matters most to them, as they begin to follow those passions and give their unique gifts, then these threads will weave together in an almost magical way to create the most magnificent tapestry imaginable.

No thread is more or less important than any other. All are critical to complete the masterpiece.

Today's Tip for Following Your Passions: For just one day, notice every single time you make a decision. Each time, ask yourself, "Will this decision help me be more aligned with my top 5 passions, or will it take me farther away from them?" For this day, ruthlessly make the choices that favor the things that matter most to you, regardless of what anyone else may say or think. Then tomorrow, take stock. How did it feel to make choices based on your top passions? Where do you need to make adjustments so you can do this every single day?
