Suzanne told us we had to meet them. We didn't think any more about it until we were sitting in our conference room after teaching a Passion Test Certification course in Miami and there was a knock on the door.
There was Suzanne, and behind her was a man, a woman and three beautiful children.
"Here they are!" Suzanne exclaimed and then introduced us to Eric, Sharon and their three children, Sue age 10, Tom age 7, and Katie age 5, (we've changed their names to protect their privacy).
As they trundled into the conference room, we noticed they each had something in their hands.
"They all brought their Vision Boards for you to see," Suzanne explained.
Eric and Sharon went on to tell us what a profound effect The Passion Test has had on their lives, and what a great tool it has been to help their children get focused on what matters most to them.
"We do the Passion Test process as a family," Sharon told us. She said that it was so much fun and the kids loved picking out the pictures for their vision boards.
As we looked at each of the children's boards we saw how wonderfully creative and diverse their interests were. Each of them also had their top five passions listed.
"We had no idea that Tom was so excited about the ocean before he took The Passion Test," Eric said. As we looked at Tom's Vision Board it was covered with pictures of the ocean and people in strange suits underwater.
"I'm going to be a marine biologist," Tom told us with great enthusiasm. His eyes shined and we could tell that this young man had already begun discovering his passions in life.
Eric turned to us as they were about to leave, "You have given us a profound gift. The Passion Test has brought us together as a family and allowed us to learn things about our children we would never otherwise have known. I hope that other families discover the miracle that we have."
