The book officially launched this afternoon at a buzzing press conference at the Hotel on the Rivington in New York City.
The Attwoods spoke passionately about their work bringing THE PASSION TEST to people on every level of society, from some of the most successful people in the country to the homeless. They described their work with America's underserved communities, including juvenile justice detention centers and battered women's shelters.
Attendees also had the opportunity to meet team members of the "Unleash America's Passion" bike tour. These dedicated individuals just finished cycling 5000 miles across America to facilitate THE PASSION TEST to more than 2000 youth at Boys and Girls clubs along the way. The audience also heard from Dr. Andrew Newberg, Director of the Center for Spirituality and the Mind, at the University of Pennsylvania and Mark Robert Waldman, Associate Fellow at the Center, who shared their latest findings from the field of neuroscience about the relationship between our beliefs and what we experience in our lives. They explained how their findings confirm the value of THE PASSION TEST. Lastly, the audience was treated to a special musical performance by Themba, a former inmate from Riker's Island turned spiritual leader who rapped The Passion Test's theme song, Reclaim Your Power!
