The Key to Monetizing Your Passions
There is one secret to creating anything you choose to have in your life. It comes in three parts:
Intention
Attention
No Tension
Intention - Consciously stating what you choose to create in your life is the first step to manifesting it. The critical element here is clarity. So much of the time we tell ourselves that we have an intention to create something, but then the results don't match our stated intentions. Your intentions will always match your true intentions. Use the Passion Meter tool at www.passiontestonline.com to keep your intentions and your results aligned. When these are aligned, then your intentions will manifest as the things you choose to create in your life.
Attention - What you put your attention on grows stronger in your life. Action engages attention. On a practical level this means that you do everything you can think to do to support the creation of your intention, then you let go into . . .
No Tension - When you are open to what is appearing in this moment, you allow the perfect organizing power of Nature to move through you. When you hold tightly to your concepts of how things should be, you shut off the flow of life, which in turn prevents you from enjoying the fulfillment of living your personal destiny.
The 7 Keys to Living a Passionate, Abundant Life
Monetizing your passions requires incorporating these seven elements into every part of your life.
1. Commitment
"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation) there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in oneís favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goetheís couplets: 'Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.'"
W. H. Murray, The Scottish Himalayan Expedition, 1951
2. Clarity
"When you are clear, what you want will appear in your life, and only to the extent you are clear."
~ The Passion Test:
The Effortless Path to Discovering Your Destiny
How do you know when you are really clear? When your stated intentions match your results. When they don't match, this is a signal to look inside because there is something else going on.

You can use the Passion Meter tool at www.passiontestonline.com to track your intentions and results. Do this regularly and you will gain the clarity to create what you choose to have in your life.

3. Attention
"What you put your attention on grows stronger in your life."

Action engages attention. It's not the action which creates the results in your life. It's the flow of attention.

If it was your actions, all you'd have to do is create a plan and execute your plan. But have you ever created a plan that didn't work out the way you hoped it would?

The principle of attention means doing everything and anything you can think to do to bring your intention into being, then letting go. Once you've done all you can do, then creating results requires staying open to what is appearing in your life now.

4. Staying Open
"All of life is a gift when you are open to what is appearing now."

Things never turn out the way you think they will. Remember your job is to get clear about "what" you choose to create in your life. It is not your job to know the "how."

That doesn't mean you don't try whatever "how" occurs to you. It means you stay open that the "how" in your mind may not be the "how" which fulfills your intention.

In every challenge, look for the opportunity. In every dark cloud, look for the silver lining. There is always a gift in every situation when you have the eyes to see it.

5. Integrity
"Be as true to others as you are to yourself, and as true to yourself as you are to others."
Integrity is really about having complete alignment between your inner self and your outer self. For example, when you say you'll do something, you do that.

Integrity requires the willingness to accept the consequences when you make commitments that are not easy or convenient to fulfill.

When you make a commitment you do think you can keep, then integrity requires going to the party to whom you made the commitment and seeing if you can renegotiate the commitment. If they are unable or unwilling to renegotiate, then you keep the commmitment, even if it is inconvenient, uncomfortable or costly. This is how you build trust.

In the Passion Test, Stephen M.R. Covey talks about "The Speed of Trust." When you build trust in your relationships then you gain a dividend which increases the speed with which things can be accomplished and reduces the cost of doing them.

6. Persistence
"Many begin the journey, but few complete it."
This is the other side of the coin from commitment. The beauty is that when you have identified your true passions, you'll discover that nothing can stop you.

There will always be challenges. There will always be obstacles. But when you are connected to the things that truly matter to you, then these things can never be more than temporary setbacks.

What would be impossible for someone else will become possible for you. What would be uncomfortable for someone else you will hardly even notice. That burning fire inside cannot be put out. At most it will dampened for a while.

When you discover that you just can't go on, guess what? You're not supposed to. When you are connected to your true passions, nothing can stop you. So if something is stopping you, it's because you're supposed to stop.

Notice, breathe, and ask to be open to the gift that is appearing in your life.

7. Follow Your Heart
"When in doubt, follow your heart."
Your passions arise from your heart. When you are confused and don't know which way to turn, then just wait. Listen to your heart. And until you can hear the direction it is pulling you, it's OK to stop and listen.

Those who have enjoyed great success in life are those who have had the courage to follow their hearts, even when everyone around them said they were crazy, or would fail completely, or would bring disaster on themselves.

It takes courage to follow your passions when they go against what you've been taught or what others want for you. But when you exercise that courage, you will find the rewards are beyond anything you thought possible.

Earning Your First $1 Following Your Passions
When you earn your first $1, you go from amateur to professional. As you first step in learning how to monetize your passions, we suggest you click on the link "How Others Did It." There you'll hear the stories, in their own words, of people like T. Harv Eker, Mark Victor Hansen, Stephen M.R. Covey, Barbara DeAngelis and others about how they went from amateur to professional.

Then click on the link called "Creating Wealth Resources." There you'll find some of the best money making mentors we've met. We encourage you to check them out and then find one that resonates with your passions.

You CAN make a living following your passions. If Oprah can earn a living from a passion for sitting around chatting with people, if Mrs. Fields can earn a living from a passion for baking cookies, if Martha Stewart can earn a living from a passion for homemaking, you can earn a living following your passions.

It's your time. It's time to give your special gifts.
